  11. Is there an ftp'able program to compute view factors?

  13. What I need is the following:  say we have is a 3-D space defined
  14. by a collection of polygons.  For each polygon, what fraction of
  15. diffuse light emanating from it hits each other polygon?  The computation
  16. would probably have to consider the distance between two polygons,
  17. their sizes, the angle between the planes of the two polygons, and any
  18. intervening objects that partially or totally block the polygons from each
  19. other.
