- Is there an ftp'able program to compute view factors?
-
- What I need is the following: say we have is a 3-D space defined
- by a collection of polygons. For each polygon, what fraction of
- diffuse light emanating from it hits each other polygon? The computation
- would probably have to consider the distance between two polygons,
- their sizes, the angle between the planes of the two polygons, and any
- intervening objects that partially or totally block the polygons from each
- other.
-
- Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated!
