- I use the aXe editor for X windows here on an RS6000. The package
- (now at revision 3.1) is available from export.lcs.mit.edu in the
- /contrib directory as aXe-3.1.tar.Z.

- I think that aXe might be exactly what you're looking for. It has
- user-configurable pull-down menus, among other nice things, while emacs
- key sequences still do what you expect them to.
