- Most of the email-users at my institution are using POPMail for PC's
- or Eudora for Mac. These mail programs have the added facility that
- they can do a BINHEX on any file and enclose them in the 7-bit mail.
- If the receiver is using a similar program, the file will
- automatically be unpacked and written to disk. Hence even large
- programs can be sent as e-mail. This is of course very practical (if
- you are using a program that can handle it). But as a RMAIL user
- (under Emacs) it is usually a little inconvenient to read the HEX
- files... ;)

- So --- rather than doing it myself and hence perhaps reinventing the
- wheel --- I ask whether somebody has made a program for RMAIL that
- can extract those BINHEX'ed files and preferably write them to a
- file???
