  30. This is my second chance to say RTFM about this, and i'll
  31. take it. :-)

  33. You have to set home=directory_where_elvis.rc_is,
  34. then elvis will read a elvis.rc file. Another way, probably,
  35. with a exinit variable. (e.g. set home=c:\vi)
  36. (don't you love dos unixisms?)

  38. It is very possible, according to author, that in the future
  39. elvis will be able to read elvis.rc in the directory where
  40. elvis is (assuming DOS 3.x or higher). It would be trivial
  41. to do this myself, fiddling with the source, but the #@$%#!
  42. BCC 3.0 compiler here didn't like the source code, and i
  43. don't have time to do serious debugging.

  45. There is an option that you can set in the main elvis.rc
  46. that will make elvis look for an aditional elvis.rc in the
  47. directory where you are when you invoke it (so you can have
  48. different deffaults according to what kind of work).
