- You have to set home=directory_where_elvis.rc_is,
- then elvis will read a elvis.rc file. Another way, probably,
- with a exinit variable. (e.g. set home=c:\vi)
- (don't you love dos unixisms?)

- It is very possible, according to author, that in the future
- elvis will be able to read elvis.rc in the directory where
- elvis is (assuming DOS 3.x or higher). It would be trivial
- to do this myself, fiddling with the source, but the #@$%#!
- BCC 3.0 compiler here didn't like the source code, and i
- don't have time to do serious debugging.

- There is an option that you can set in the main elvis.rc
- that will make elvis look for an aditional elvis.rc in the
- directory where you are when you invoke it (so you can have
- different deffaults according to what kind of work).

- P.S.: above answer assumes elvis 1.6. If you are using an
- earlier version, get 1.6 quick.
