- I just got in my brief 3.1 from Borland and from what I've read,
- it is supposed to be _completely_ programmable, ie you should be able to
- program the keys: { } [ ] ( ), and any other. Its macro language is C-like
- and compileable.
- However, it comes with a nice C-language package that is customizable
- to your indenting style (though I'm not sure what you'd have to do for the
- parenthesies the way you like them).
- So far, I don't like the way the keys are setup, but they are
- configurable, so I'll be changing them. It has a up-to-300 level
- undo. Multiple windows (vertical, horizontal, or whatever). Mouse support
- (though so far, I don't think it's very _good_ mouse support). And lots
- lots more.
- My biggest gripe is the setup.exe which either installs or
- reconfigures brief. It could be easier to use. And I hate the way it
- has to edit so many files every time it is used.
-
- Hope all of this helps 8-)
