  23. approaching Hawaii, where landfall was expected, and where there were
  24. warnings. How could it have been a surprise in this day of weather
  25. satellites? Do they get the Weather Channel in Hawaii?

  28. was on his honeymoon in Honolulu (some honeymoon, huh?), and we'd
  29. heard news of what was going on by phone.
