  36. Statistics of Communications Common Carriers, FCC

  38.  - published each year by the Federal Communincations Commission
  39.  - will give numbers of domestic (US) calls and calls between US and
  40.    rest-of-the-world (listed by country)
  41.  - statistics are given for previous year (you'll have to get back
  42.    issues to see any growth figures)

  44. Yearbook of Common Carrier Telecommunication Statistics, ITU
  45.  
  46.  - published by International Telecommunications Union (Geneva)
  47.  - more international in scope but less detailed than FCC book
  48.
