- I am having a problem with getting syslog-style logging to
- work. I have an AGS+ (PROM software version 8.1(19), and
- yes, I know I'm way behind :-) that I have enabled logging
- on, and I'm sending it to our loghost. However, no messages
- are appearing in the logs. I have checked /etc/syslog.conf
- on the loghost, rebooted the system, and double-checked the
- configuration on the AGS+. Everything looks kosher, yet
- nothing is being logged. Any ideas?
-
- A related question: just what constitutes an informational
- message or above? We have had logging enabled on the AGS+
- for over a week, and it thinks it's seen exactly nine
- messages. I would have expected a few more than that...
-
- Thanks in advance for any help.
