  24. Yes, I concur entirely.  Gateway's tech. support hasn't been able
  25. to help me with this either.  While I do not have a solution to the
  26. problem of not sending a break, to avoid sending a "+++" to the remote
  27. modem, I have altered my escape sequence to "---".  You could just
  28. change it any other ASCII character.

  36. I have this problem with Kermit and other modems as well.  Most notably
  37. my old ATI 2400 etc/i.  Suprisingly, I do not have this problem if I
  38. run Kermit inside of a Windows 3.1 DOS box.
