- Well, I am using only a 2400 modem and upgrading to a 14.4k modem would
- be quite an improvement to me, despite the fact that I may not get an
- upgrade to v.fast . Better still, the ZyXEL E+ model will be able to
- do up to 19.2k, which is quite enough for me at this moment. Moreover, I
- think the reason that ZyXEL does not guarantee upgradability to v.fast
- is because they don't want to make a promise that they may not be able
- to keep, they just are waiting for the time when they can be sure of it,
- and they will make such a promise. Further, I don't think ZyXEL is
- releasing the E+ model just to provide another proprietary (19.2k)
- protocol.
