  25. Yes, I can confirm this. Btw, you also need to set the S-registers needed for 
  26. HST operation. These are: ATS14=1S24=150S26=1S32=8S34=0&W, and you only need 
  27. to set them once, as they are stored in NVRAM. It works like a dream, with 
  28. 16800-HST support. Type ATB1 to connect with HST instead of V.32bis when 
  29. dialing a 16k8-Dual Standard modem.

  31. All Sportster modems sold to date that I have tested support this undocumented 
  32. feature. Not only do you get HST, you also get ASL, Link Diagnostics and the 
  33. other Courier features. Good luck with your cheap DS! :)

  35. Btw, this works great with V.small 57600bps Courier V.32bis modems too. Just 
  36. use the same codes.
