- Hello all. I recently aquired an old UDC 9600 V.32 for my dial-up system.
- The problems that I am having are few, but a real pain. I am running on SCO
- 3.2.4, 386/25, with a 4 port Digiboard. Modem is on tty1d.
-
- 1) It will not dial out correctly with HDB UUCP. It dials, but then it will
- not send anything out to the remote site. It just sits there.
-
- 2) I get a lot of the "getty-talks-to-itself" with this modem. I cannot
- for the life of me figure out why.
-
- I have 3 other modems on line, a USR 16.8K Dual Standard, a USR 14.4 V.42
- HST, and a Quattro 2400. These lines work fine.
-
- Any ideas?
-
- I have the followup-to set to poster, as this group has enough noise in it
- already.
-
- Thanks!
