  13.        I've been following with great interest all the discussions on the pros and cons
  14. of various 14400 modems+fax (ext).

  16. Here is the problem (if one can call that)

  18. for the same price (+- 20$), I can have an external USR Sportster fax-modem That has V32bis 
  19. (I don't have it's "name") or I can have the PP14400FXSA (also external + fax).

  21. Which one should I choose?

  23. BTW: I should mention that it's not for SLIP, it's for my home, BBSing (user mode) and
  24.      working on my research -> connecting to a USR sportster here at Uof Montreal.
