- Could someone please give me the FAX number for Zoom, whose voice line is
- perpetually busy?
-
- Alternatively, maybe someone could answer these two simple questions...
-
- 1. Is there a command to change the number of ring attempts before the
- modem gives up and reports, "no answer".
-
- 2. If I have used my modem, a 2400 baud V42bis Zoom, to make a FAX call
- and then want to use it as a modem, I have to turn it off and back on. If I
- don't turn it off and back on, the modem calls out with CNG tones. Is there
- any way to reset the modem without cycling the power?
-
- Thanks.
