  11. Could someone please give me the FAX number for Zoom, whose voice line is 
  12. perpetually busy?

  14. Alternatively, maybe someone could answer these two simple questions...

  16. 1.    Is there a command to change the number of ring attempts before the 
  17. modem gives up and reports, "no answer".

  19. 2.    If I have used my modem, a 2400 baud V42bis Zoom, to make a FAX call 
  20. and then want to use it as a modem, I have to turn it off and back on.  If I 
  21. don't turn it off and back on, the modem calls out with CNG tones.  Is there 
  22. any way to reset the modem without cycling the power?
