- I've got a problem with my modem. The modem is a Nuvo 14,400 which uses the
- Rockwell chipset. Usually, the modem works just fine. But when I experience
- an unexpected disconnection, the modem does not hang up and I can't reconnect.
- In fact, when I go to my communication software (ProComm Plus and/or PCPlus
- for Windows), I can't even hang up! The only solution is to turn the power
- off and then turn the power on again. This is a royal pain. Has anyone
- experienced this, and is there anything I can do to hang up?
