  11. I know it can be done, but I can't find it anywhere in my FM...

  13. I need to munge up my modem settings to call one machine, and I need to
  14. have the modem returned to its normal state at the conclusion of that
  15. call so it can deal properly with incoming calls.

  17. I'm using a Zyxel 1496, and surprisingly I don't see anything in the
  18. manual about an option to force a reset after DTR drops.

  21. Lacking that, I've heard that HDB uucp can issue a command string to the
  22. modem on hangup, but my docs make no mention of how.
