- I know it can be done, but I can't find it anywhere in my FM...
-
- I need to munge up my modem settings to call one machine, and I need to
- have the modem returned to its normal state at the conclusion of that
- call so it can deal properly with incoming calls.
-
- I'm using a Zyxel 1496, and surprisingly I don't see anything in the
- manual about an option to force a reset after DTR drops.
-
-
- Lacking that, I've heard that HDB uucp can issue a command string to the
- modem on hangup, but my docs make no mention of how.
-
- Can someone enlighten me?
-
- Thanks...
