- There are a set of z-modem patches for Taylor UUCP V1.03. It is _not_
- exactly the "real" z-modem, some adaptations and additions were needed to
- make the z-modem protocol fit into the UUCP command and control model. The
- author did a great job of adapting z-modem to UUCP. One sad thing... the
- partial file recovery support was deleted, as it would have required more
- modifications to UUCP itself than the author wanted to deal with. In any
- case, his z-modem uucp protocol is compatible only with itself. It is such
- a nice job, though, that some of us hope that the UUCP community will add
- it to the list of "common" link protocols.
