  12. I'm having difficulty using my Zyxel U-1496E and the supplied ZFAX
  13. software.  Couple of problems:
  14.  
  15. 1) It seems I can receive only a page or two, and then the connection
  16.    fails (the sending FAX signals an error at this point).
  17.  
  18. 2) When sending, the resulting status is always FAIL.
  19.  
  20. I believe I have the 4.09 ROMs.  Not that it matters, but my system
  21. config is 386-33, MSDOS 5, EMM386, Stacker, NCACHE, NDOS.
  22.  
  23. Has anyone successfully used the ZFAX software?  Did you experience
  24. the above problems?

  26. Couple of other questions:
  27.  
  28. 1) What MS-DOS based FAX software packages support ZYXEL?  I'm
  29.    preferrably looking for PD/Shareware stuff.
  30.  
  31. 2) Is there any FAX package for Windows which can look like a printer,
  32.    so I can "print" Word4Windows documents directly to the FAX?  Or is
  33.    there another way of FAXing Word documents in their pretty "typeset"
  34.    look without having to resort to actual paper printing?
