  16. The approach taken by better vendors who have a presence on the net is to
  17. provide *complete* information to general requests for information.  For
  18. example you might have said "3Com makes X, SMC makes Y, and D-Link makes Z,
  19. and we're pretty proud of ours so you might want to take a look."  One of
  20. the best vendors in this regard IMHO is FTP Software.  As a consumer of 
  21. Usenet, I prefer informative messages rather than single sided advertisements.
  22. And I think it is more in the spirit of this news group.

  24. Having read what I have just written, I don't want anyone to confuse this
  25. for a flame.  It is just a humble suggestion so take it for what it's worth,
  26. which probably isn't much.  8-)
