- Note: I am always mentioning Class2 as the defacto Class2 or ersatz Class2
- since the standard has yet to pass!!
-
- I have some Class2 fax software we have written and it works just fine
- with the Rockwell and Sierra chipsets. Taking into account some really
- sloppy code on the part of the chip makers since they don't seem to watch
- the fax carrier very well and sometimes don't return +FHNG when it
- is hung up. Oh well that is another huge story. Does EXAR have some
- sort of a difference between it and the normal Class2 from Rockwell/Sierra?
-
- It almost always hangs up on me after the first page is sent.
-
- PS: Any software vendors can contact me for the preliminary Fax/Modem
- command score card which will show you the variety of responses to
- certain Class2 commands.
