  12. Note: I am always mentioning Class2 as the defacto Class2 or ersatz Class2
  13.       since the standard has yet to pass!!

  15. I have some Class2 fax software we have written and it works just fine
  16. with the Rockwell and Sierra chipsets.  Taking into account some really
  17. sloppy code on the part of the chip makers since they don't seem to watch
  18. the fax carrier very well and sometimes don't return +FHNG when it
  19. is hung up.  Oh well that is another huge story.  Does EXAR have some
  20. sort of a difference between it and the normal Class2 from Rockwell/Sierra?

  22. It almost always hangs up on me after the first page is sent.

  24. PS: Any software vendors can contact me for the preliminary Fax/Modem
  25.     command score card which will show you the variety of responses to
  26.     certain Class2 commands.
