- There are now many people on the internet with a good knowledge of ATM,
- but since you asked, here's a few pointers:
-
- Book: This one is pretty good; it's both recent and readable:
- Martin de Prycker, "ASYNCHRONOUS TRANSFER MODE; Solution for Broadband ISDN"
- Ellis Horwood, New York, 1991, ISBN 0-13-053513-3
-
- Articles:
- Sep (Oct?) 1991 Data Communications has a good trade-journal article on
- ATM, it's the cover article, written by John McQuillan.
-
- Further reading:
- Check out the ATM/Cell relay/et al bibliography maintained by our
- cell-relay newsgroup host, Allen Robel (robelr@mythos.ucs.indiana.edu),
- at mythos.ucs.indiana.edu in pub/cell-relay/bib.

- >Also do you make any chips?
-
- Adaptive designed an ATM/AAL chipset for use in equipment (computer,
- workstation, router, etc) which connects to an ATM network; that
- chipset is now licensed to two merchant chip manufacturers, TranSwitch
- and National Semiconductor. If anyone needs contact info for these
- chip guys, or wants further info on the chipset, please contact me (not
- on this newsgroup, in the interest of minimizing commercial traffic!).
