  14. We are currently considering developing an application from
  15. some off-station staff with the following scenario and would
  16. like advice to see if it will work.

  18. We expect to give our staff DOS/WINDOWS PCs who will DIAL in
  19. to our VAX and use a PARADOX front-end to our DEC-RDB as the
  20. backend where central data is stored.

  22. Is it possible to do this ie using SQL Link for Paradox can
  23. we access the RDB database over dial-up lines - what I am
  24. wondering whether the Link will work only over DECNET or
  25. some specific network architecture.
