- First, assume your are using Paradox 3.5.
-
- Don't remember and cannot find the exact article, but I remember within
- last half year that I have read an article that may be helpful to your
- situation. That articule specifically deal with "obsolete" forms and
- record caused by change in table structure. I remember that article
- mentioned that Paradox saved its form/report info "header" (or some
- kind of pointer type information) in the table. With a trick you can
- actually reset that pointer/header/counter so that the table will not
- think the form/report being obsolete any more.
-
- Obviously the best solution is to have a good backup to recover from (which
- from your post it seems like out of question).
-
- Sorry I cannot locate article. I just want to suggest you to ask around,
- or even ask Borland if they can show your the way to do so. I will imagine
- to alter that type of pointer/header/counter you may need to use some
- binary file editor to do it.
-
- Good luck
