- I'm designing a database system that will be released as freeware
- (similar to GNU) when it is finished. Before we freeze the database
- format we want to have a clear idea of how we will handle record locking,
- before-imaging, database recovery, and transaction processing
- (commit/rollback).
-
- Does anyone have references to the literature that covers such issues.
- Any books, journal articles, CS tech reports etc... would be welcome.
- Or, if there is source code available on the net, that would be helpful
- too.
-
- please reply via e-mail as I do not read this group regularly.
-
- And if there is somewhere else I should post this request, let me know.
