  14. I'm currently working on a database system that needs to have telnet,
  15. PC and Mac access.  I'm wondering if some people could share their
  16. experiences with some database systems in a similar project.
  17. Currently, I'm considering Oracle and DBase.  Are there other DB
  18. systems which operate on PC, Mac and either VMS or SunOS?  I'm
  19. constrained by file locking mechanisms (it can be changed in a telnet
  20. session, with multiple sessions allowed) and disk space (I need to be
  21. able to compile the micro DB's to a floppy).
