- I'm currently working on a database system that needs to have telnet,
- PC and Mac access. I'm wondering if some people could share their
- experiences with some database systems in a similar project.
- Currently, I'm considering Oracle and DBase. Are there other DB
- systems which operate on PC, Mac and either VMS or SunOS? I'm
- constrained by file locking mechanisms (it can be changed in a telnet
- session, with multiple sessions allowed) and disk space (I need to be
- able to compile the micro DB's to a floppy).
-
- Thanks in advance!
