  22. Seems that appnote.txt had a hardwhare bug in the infinite
  23. compression routine. They are trying very hard to
  24. retrocompile it to appnote.doc.

  26. Also, there has appeared a deal with WEB, to use their
  27. compression routines in the next release of pkzip x.x.
  28.  
  29. Rumor has it that they have decided to wait until a time
  30. machine is invented, then they can create pkzip, go back in
  31. time and release it in september 1991.
