- I've put a binary for gs version 2.5.1 on ftp.cs.caltech.edu in
- the directory pub/3b1/gs/. The binary supports the following
- devices:
- att3b1, pbmraw, pgmraw, ppmraw, gifmono, gif8,
- dfaxhigh, dfaxlow, deskjet, djet500
- You also need the files in lib.tar.Z; they get installed in
- /usr/local/lib/ghostscript/. The 2.5.1 fonts include a couple
- of cyrillic fonts, otherwise there are no changes from 2.5.
-
- The gs source distribution now includes the driver for the 3b1
- console. I made a few extra changes to the driver (it now includes
- online help). The modified source is also available in pub/3b1/gs,
- and was used in making the binary.
-
- For those who want to link gs themselves, or get a head start
- on recompiling, the unlinked .o files are in gs-obj.tar.Z.
