  20. InterViews 3.1-beta2 is now available via anonymous ftp
  21. from "interviews.stanford.edu" (IP address 36.22.0.175).
  22. The distribution is in a compressed tar file named "pub/3.1-beta2.tar.Z"
  23. (about 3.7Mb).  The distribution is also ftp-able from sgi.com
  24. in "graphics/interviews/3.1-beta2.tar.Z".

  26. The README file in the top-level directory contains information
  27. about how to build InterViews.  The PostScript file iv/src/man/refman/cover.ps
  28. contains general information about 3.1 (including a brief
  29. discussion of differences from 3.0).

  31. This beta contains fixes from the first beta, a few enhancements, and
  32. a few more examples.  The purpose of this beta is to eliminate any
  33. remaining build problems before generating the official 3.1 snapshot.
