  19. This message announces the availability of Scheme release scm4a11.

  21. The distribution files now unpack into directory scm.  A recently
  22. introduced bug with (>= 1 3 2) has been fixed.  Support for Linux has
  23. been added.  Interrupts now work much better under VMS.  Speed of LET
  24. has been improved.

  26. Scm conforms to Revised^4 Report on the Algorithmic Language Scheme
  27. and the IEEE P1178 specification.  Scm is written in C and runs under
  28. Amiga, Atari-ST, MacOS, MS-DOS, NOS/VE, VMS, Unix and similar systems.
  29. ASCII and EBCDIC are supported.

  31. Documentation is included explaining the many Scheme Language
  32. extensions in scm, the internal representation and how to extend or
  33. include scm in other programs.
