- HP Greeley (Colorado) manufactures M.O. changer mechanisms from 40 to 100 GB
- range. Aside from them OEMing these devices to many solution providers, they
- have a file system (OSA) that mounts each side of a platter as a UNIX file
- system.
-
- HP has several basic products, on their UNIX platforms, which access these
- devices in the primitive mode you describe. The most basic comes gratis with
- HP-UX. The next level (optical migration) comes from HP Boebingen (Germany)
- where you have to actually pay additional $$.
-
- Either call a HP sales rep, or I can get you the name of a product marketing
- type in Greeley. My project is only a user of the MO Jukebox; I don't know
- how to get you info on it. Sorry.
