- Hi Mark,
-
- I think AI Expert is a fairly good, up-to-date source of information,
- though it is fairly technical. I find that many of the articles go right
- over my head (I'm a fourth year physics student). Whenever I buy a copy of
- AI Expert I sometimes think to myself "Why the HELL did I buy this?", but
- then I read an article carefully and learn somthing about genetic algorithms,
- C++, or neural networks and I feel much better.
-
- I also find the example programs that go with the very interesting
- and instructional. When the source code is not included, it can be obtained
- via anonymous ftp (the address of the site escapes me at the moment, maybe
- me.uta.edu ?).
-
- You might also look at a "AI Magazine" and there are some IEEE
- publications.
-
- I hope this helps. Contact me by email (as if I know anything)
- if you want.
