  24. Windows/PC is NOT MacOS on a different platform. My advice is replace
  25. aging Mac with one of the new 'low-price' Mac systems due out in october.
  26. She will preserve her software investment, and more importantly, her
  27. cognitive investment in using the machine to accomplish her work. IMHO
  28. Windows is a cumbersome, non-intuitive 'GUI' sitting on top of an
  29. obscure obsolete OS (MS-DOS).
