- Essential Functions

- * Monitor affirmative action/equal opportunity efforts of
- colleges and departments to ensure compliance with all
- applicable federal, state and university laws and policies
- regarding equal opportunity/affirmative action practices.

- * Maintain job bank (curriculum vita bank) for targeted
- employment areas and educational programs to ensure inclusion
- of minorities, women and the disabled.

- * Conduct affirmative action data analyses and prepare
- statistical reports for the university administration, state
- and federal authorities.

- * Investigate formal and informal discrimination complaints and
- make recommendations for the resolutions of such complaints.

- * Conduct reviews of compliance status of minority and female
- contractors and vendors.

- * Advise university units and administrators on affirmative
- action policies and plans, and act as liaison with outside
- organizations and groups.

- Qualifications

- * Graduation from an accredited college or university with major
- coursework in some of the following: mathematics, computer
- science, accounting, psychology, sociology and political
- science, or an equivalent combination of education and
- experience (masters degree preferred).

- laws, policies, regulation, computer systems and data systems
- analysis.
