  45. Essential Functions
  46.  
  47. *    Monitor affirmative action/equal opportunity efforts of
  48.      colleges and departments to ensure compliance with all
  49.      applicable federal, state and university laws and policies
  50.      regarding equal opportunity/affirmative action practices.
  51.  
  52. *    Maintain job bank (curriculum vita bank) for targeted
  53.      employment areas and educational programs to ensure inclusion
  54.      of minorities, women and the disabled.

  56. *    Conduct affirmative action data analyses and prepare
  57.      statistical reports for the university administration, state
  58.      and federal authorities.
  59.  
  60. *    Investigate formal and informal discrimination complaints and
  61.      make recommendations for the resolutions of such complaints.

  63. *    Conduct reviews of compliance status of minority and female
  64.      contractors and vendors.

  76. *    Graduation from an accredited college or university with major
  77.      coursework in some of the following:  mathematics, computer
  78.      science, accounting, psychology, sociology and political
  79.      science, or an equivalent combination of education and
  80.      experience (masters degree preferred).

  82. *    Considerable knowledge of affirmative action/ equal employment
  83.      laws, policies, regulation, computer systems and data systems
  84.      analysis.

  86. *    Some paralegal or investigation work experience.
