- On the matter of SPSS and NB, I'm referring to SPSSPC+ (versions 2 and 3) in
- the good-old-fashioned DOS environment. The bar chart, for example, on an HP
- is, well, a bar....chart: black and barrish. The crosstab tables have solid
- lines (unless they occupy too much space in regular PT 10 or 12 and must use
- the smaller PT 15 ("line printer" characters, in which case the vertical lines
- are broken). In all cases, however, one should follow the NB manual's advice
- on graphics: use non-proportional fonts for that section of your document.

- As for SPSS for Windows, "I don't do Windows." For multi-tasking, it's
- Desqview.
