- Subject: graphics and unwanted form feeds

- I tried to <<IN>> a graphics file within a NB page.
-
- Problem: the graph printed on a page of its own,
- instead of in the space of 4 inches I had reserved for it.
-
- The background problem: Harvard Graphics (V. 3.0) knows how to
- send a print job to a disk file but does not give you the option
- of not issuing a Form Feed command both before and after the
- actual picture.
-
- An attempted solution: look at the graphics file and see whether
- you can weed out the unwanted form feeds.
- Finding: looks too complicated, I could not locate any such
- form feed commands that the HPIII manual indicated.
-
- The Harvard Graphics dealer suggested
- 1) "get a more up-to-date word processor, one that handles
- pictures, or
- 2) get a post script printer in which case deleting FFs
- (or the equivalent) is possible."
-
- I still would like to solve the problem by weeding out the
- form feeds from the graphics file.
- Can anyone help with this one?
