- In response to Paul Bodin's information to the effect that S. Siebert is now
- clean-shaven I must ask, "Is nothing sacred?" Or is it perhaps an indication
- that DFI is now going to come clean about its prospects for the future?
- Every indication is that the preparation and shipping of NB4.0 was indeed a
- hairy operation--that it was a close shave getting it out at all. Certainly th
- the frequent delays in shipping put some of us into a lather. For myself, then
- I shall endeavor to put the best construction on all that DFI does, and shall
- read these news as portending a future that is smoother than the rough and
- stubbly months of the recent past. Let us adopt Figaro as our guide and
- psychopomp and cicerone into the age of NB 4.0, and offer up sweet-smelling
- sacrifices of bay rum, 4711, and Old Spice by way propitiating the Lord of the
- Bugs.
