- The main trick to critical thinking is to avoid buying into the rhetorical
- situation or communication dynamic set up by a text. One needs to attempt to
- construct the rhetorical situation and attempt to understand what is going on
- as a sort of voyeur. You can then deiced whether or not you want to buy in.
- Rhetorical analysis (of whatever sort) is the best tool for critical thinking
- that I know of.
