- As I understand it this is a grey area. It is certainly okay for
- a company to ship fixes over the Internet. If a company uses the
- Internet as its sole or primary path for customer support, there
- might be a problem. The commercial data networks would no doubt
- scream "unfair competition". The NSFnet Acceptable Use Policy
- doesn't seem to proscribe shipping fixes per se, but it does
- prohibit "Extensive use for private or personal business".
