- First of all, if you have any data that you value on dasd and don't have
- frequent backups of it, you may as well not have it at all.

- That being said, You can probably do the following, BACK UP your data
- that is to be moved, preferrably 2 ways. Have IBM move the dasd and
- then try to access the data with the dasd in their new home. If there
- are problems you can always ICKDSF the drives and restore from backups.
- If there are no problems you can still be safe in the knowledge that you
- covered your butt in the event there were.
