  11. First of all, if you have any data that you value on dasd and don't have
  12. frequent backups of it, you may as well not have it at all.

  14. That being said, You can probably do the following,  BACK UP  your data
  15. that is to be moved, preferrably 2 ways.  Have IBM move the dasd and
  16. then try to access the data with the dasd in their new home.  If there
  17. are problems you can always ICKDSF the drives and restore from backups.
  18. If there are no problems you can still be safe in the knowledge that you
  19. covered your butt in the event there were.
