- Your original post was concerned to establish that Mississippi
- State University was better than the University of Mississippi.
- That's fine by me.
- That reminds me of when I interviewed for my position at
- Clemson. I think I had been on campus for about ten minutes
- when the then Head of Department put a drink in
- my hand and proceeded to explain to me how
- that the History Department at Clemson was far better than
- the Department at South Carolina. I needed the job, so I nodded
- my head, even though I hadn't heard of either institution a few
- weeks before (except I had heard that Woody Hayes had punched
- out a Clemson football player). Well, I got the job, and have
- been here ever since, a happy member of the Clemson Family,
- whose blood runneth orange. How 'bout them Dawgs?
