- Lines: 30
-
- At Messiah College, we just purchased some Mac LC II units with IIe cards and
- are running System 7.0.1 everywhere. As far as I know, we have not had ANY
- problems yet. I will post info to the list about any problems if we have any
- for the benefit of anyone else who may be having problems.
-
- Some possible suggestions though (don't know if they are relevant or not):
-
- Make sure after you set up your LC II units, with System 7.0.1 pre-installed,
- that you also run the System 7 "tune-up" program included on a separate disk.
-
- This guarantees that you are using Apple's latest bug fixes, etc. which are
- significant according to the Apple dealers.
-
- Also, use a more recent Apple IIe startup program if possible. Not sure if
- there have been any changes, but just an extra precaution.
-
- WE have not had ANY problems yet, but I would also be interested in knowing of
- any problems people are having with Apple II software on any LC using the IIe
- card. We depend on it heavily in our elementary ed. program.
