- Question time again. Do you know of any campus which allows
- students to rent their textbooks for a quarter or semester
- instead of having to buy? We find more and more faculty
- putting texts on reserve and more and more students checking
- them out in lieu of buying. This is not a very satisfactory
- solution either for the library, students, or faculty. I
- checked with McNaughton last year to see if they had or were
- interested in looking into this but got nowhere. I was
- wondering if some campuses had investigated and implemented,
- perhaps through their associated student organizations. I
- briefly toyed with the idea of developing here in the library
- (possibly as a revenue generating idea) but gave it up - no
- time.
