  13. Question time again.  Do you know of any campus which allows
  14. students to rent their textbooks for a quarter or semester
  15. instead of having to buy?  We find more and more faculty
  16. putting texts on reserve and more and more students checking
  17. them out in lieu of buying.  This is not a very satisfactory
  18. solution either for the library, students, or faculty.  I
  19. checked with McNaughton last year to see if they had or were
  20. interested in looking into this but got nowhere.  I was
  21. wondering if some campuses had investigated and implemented,
  22. perhaps through their associated student organizations.  I
  23. briefly toyed with the idea of developing here in the library
  24. (possibly as a revenue generating idea) but gave it up - no
  25. time.
