- Well like I said in my original posting I got a full refund (two days
- later, but a full refund nonetheless). It just took some pushing on
- my and others parts (like the local Panasonic Sales Rep). I certainly
- don't know if any fraud was intentionally committed and I'm happy with
- my refund and my new "no Access" shopping policy! :-)

-
- Someone who plans to shop there (or anywhere else you plan to make a
- major purchase, for that matter) should check with the Better Business
- Bureau and/or the Santa Clara Consumer Affairs Department.
-
- There is no sense being confrontational -- after all, this isn't "60
- minutes"! I, for one, don't need any more hassle from Access and
- don't want my posting used as ammunition. There are enough hard
- feelings between Jerry Lu (owner of Access) and myself as it is, and
- I thought that was clear from my first posting. I certainly don't
- need anyone stirring up that pot again. I was simply relating my
- experience there, which was most unpleasant.
-
- Someone asked for (dis)recommendations about shopping there and
- that's my two-cents and you can simply take my story as my personal
- experience -- your mileage may vary. I'd simply recommend being
- cautious when dealing with them, as you would for any major
- purchase. After all, they're still in business so they must a good
- job some of the time -- they just really blew it with me and I won't
- be shopping there again.
