- I don't know what country you are posting from, but I am a strong
- believer in US Constitutional protections. We cannot allow
- agencies of the government to violate civil liberties and
- safeguards of persons accused of crimes. It is never an
- excuse to say that these safeguards are being trampled on
- in the name of a noble cause, such as fighting child abuse,
- or treason, or drug trafficking, or whatever. That is
- the road to tyranny. I agree that government agents are
- not gods, and that is why government needs to be held in check.
