  11.   Here's what I am trying to do...  
  12.   I want to put a /exec in my .ircrc that will telnet to an address 
  13.   send a few commands, and wait for the site I am telneting to to stop
  14.   sending data before I turn the display back on.  (That's the hard 
  15.   part) 
  16.   I am not to familiar with the /if's and so on, so is there any way I can
  17.   issue a command to wait for the /exec to send a certain character or 
  18.   prompt, such as a question mark, etc. 
  19.   (in other words make a small script to telnet to and log into another
  20.   machine, through irc) Don't ask why. :) 
  21.   The part I've been having the worst luck with is getting it to log in, 
  22.   without producing any output on my screen.  I've tried using /wait's
  23.   and /sleeps but they just don't seem to work. 
  24.   I've also tried this through an alias, by making a new window, 
  25.   executing the telnet, hiding the window, issuing /sleep's and /wait's 
  26.   and then showing and killing the window, but this does not seem to7 work.
  27.  Most of the outputt is still sent to me. 
  28. Any help at all will be appreciated.
