  19. The first irc bots predate IRC II and were not implemented using /on
  20. commands. A bot using the raw interface can be written on VMS about as
  21. easily as Unix (modulo all the bugs in VMS C... but I'd do it in
  22. VMS FORTRAN, natch.)
