  13. One of the beauties of IRC is that you can't bring your old
  14. prejudices (you call them sociology, which is as good a way as
  15. any of inpugning sociology) with you.  you must make your
  16. judgements about somone in realtime based on completely objective criteria
  17. (unless that person's machine does not let him change his
  18. realname field, which won't change much anyway).  IT's
  19. a truly interesting and wonderfull aspect, and if somone wishes to
  20. announce personal information, he can do it by saying it or
  21. putting it in the realname field (realname should reveal a hint
  22. of your personality or interests, not your name - my philosophy).
