  11. I am looking for a reference from the hypertext literature, but I have
  12. not been able to find it. Can anybody help me?

  14. I vaguely remember reading a paper where the author stressed the importance
  15. of the "support tools", I think s/he called them. You know, all of those
  16. extra things that aren't REALLY hypertext, but you can't get around
  17. without them. Like history lists, node marking, paths, guided tours, 
  18. searching, etc. I can't even remember the point of the paper, just that
  19. it talks about support tools.

  21. Maybe I am missing several papers on this topic; I welcome any pointers
  22. you may give me. I have checked my paper & electronic files to no avail.
  23. Even my "Hypertext & Hypermedia" has failed me on this one (first time
  24. ever!).
