- I am looking for a reference from the hypertext literature, but I have
- not been able to find it. Can anybody help me?
-
- I vaguely remember reading a paper where the author stressed the importance
- of the "support tools", I think s/he called them. You know, all of those
- extra things that aren't REALLY hypertext, but you can't get around
- without them. Like history lists, node marking, paths, guided tours,
- searching, etc. I can't even remember the point of the paper, just that
- it talks about support tools.
-
- Maybe I am missing several papers on this topic; I welcome any pointers
- you may give me. I have checked my paper & electronic files to no avail.
- Even my "Hypertext & Hypermedia" has failed me on this one (first time
- ever!).
-
- Or maybe I just dreamt about reading it........
-
- Thanks in advance.
