  18. Hey Mark, why don't you go down to your nearest fire-pit and start a big
  19. bonfire with wood palettes. Throw on about 10 pounds of this Bismuth stuf
  20. you speak of. Then, once that catches fire, throw about a gallon of water
  21. on the burning Bismuth. My guess is that nothing of interest will happen.
  22. However, if you had done this with Cesium (or his favorite cousin
  23. Magnesium, found in Volkwagen crankcases for about $8/ea) you'd be well
  24. advised to run like hell soon after tossing the gallon of water.

  30. On a side note, I'm doing a senior-project for school on the Hall effect
  31. and one of my profs is running around claiming that, as far as the Hall
  32. effect goes, Bismuth behaves as if it has POSITIVE charge carriers. Anyone
  33. care to comment.
