  26.    I'm very disappointed in this newsgroup.  Nowhere have we had an
  27.    adequate discussion of the fundamental issue:

  29.    Is our fair element called Cesium or Caesium.  My fine high quality
  30.    wall-sized periodic chart minces no words, and comes down hard on the
  31.    side of Caesium.  We all know, of course, that it comes from the latin
  32.    Caesius, meaning blue-white, so how do you people get off forgetting
  33.    this crucial "a"?

  35.    Since Cs is the most electropositive element, surely there must be
  36.    something interesting about CsF, mixing it with the most electronegative?
  37.    Who can give us the definitive story?

  39. I for one have never seen it spelled Caesium.
  40. NEVER.  Well, not until now.  It's probably some sort of British
  41. periodic table...
